About Pattern Coaching & Consulting

Pattern Coaching & Consulting was founded during a period of personal and professional transition. After nearly two decades working in the public sector, I reached a crossroads—ready to step into entrepreneurship and build something rooted in purpose, equity, and meaningful transformation.

Pattern was born from that moment. It reflects a belief that change begins with awareness, intention, and the willingness to examine the patterns that shape how we think, lead, and operate. Through coaching and consulting, I support individuals and organizations as they shift old patterns, navigate change, and design bold, intentional futures aligned with their values.

At Pattern Coaching & Consulting, transformation is never one-size-fits-all. Every client engagement is grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and a deep understanding of both individual and organizational contexts. The goal is always clarity, alignment, and sustainable impact.

Meet Kwelin Pipkin (kway-lyn)

Principal Consultant | Certified Professional Coach

With over 19 years of experience in the public sector—particularly in community and human services—I have led community revitalization initiatives and implemented large-scale federal workforce development programs. My work is grounded in an equity-driven, systems-oriented approach that emphasizes partnership, accountability, and long-term economic mobility for communities.

In 2019, I completed the Designing for Social Systems program at Stanford University’s d.school, strengthening my ability to align strategy, systems, and lived experience. That systems-thinking lens informs all of my work—whether I’m managing complex grants, advancing job quality initiatives, or supporting leaders through periods of transition and growth.

My coaching practice focuses on entrepreneurs, transitioning professionals, and executives who are navigating change or seeking to lead with greater clarity, confidence, and alignment. I help clients pause, reflect, and move forward with intention—grounded in their strengths, values, and vision.
